ABEC Partners with Leading Client to Deliver Cutting-Edge Data Centres in Doha

ABEC has worked closely with one of our key clients and their building services consultants on the development of two state-of-the-art data centres in Doha.

ABEC’s ability to set-up and mobilise in the region, whilst simultaneously designing and creating a set of global BMS and EPMS standards, has contributed greatly to the projects’ success.

Our client specialises in the design, build and operation of advanced data centres for digital services, in rapidly emerging markets across the world. The company seeks out innovations in financing, design and construction to deliver high[1]security, high-performance and flexible co-location data centres.

In an environment where downtime can be hugely costly, advanced power monitoring can be invaluable. ABEC therefore recommended Schneider Eco-Struxure. It’s combined BMS and EPMS data centre solution brings together power, cooling, racks and management systems to support deployment of IT equipment in all environments, from small Edge applications to large Cloud data centres.

Taking a long-term approach, ABEC developed and commissioned the system to standards that can be replicated globally; and this appetite to embed themselves as the client’s trusted advisor moving forward was instrumental in the contract win.
