Frank Duggan Joins ABEC Limited as New Chairman of the Board

ABEC, one of Europe’s leading independent Building Automation specialists, is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Duggan as Chairman of the Board.

Frank brings extensive international leadership experience and board oversight to his role as Chairman, strengthening ABEC’s strategic direction and long-term value creation.

He currently serves as Vice Chairman and Board Director of Hitachi Energy AG, as well as a Board Member of GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear. Frank’s previous leadership roles include heading the ABB Hitachi Collaboration Team and serving as President of ABB’s Europe region and a member of the Group Executive Committee. Across these positions, he has driven major initiatives in energy, infrastructure, and industrial transformation, delivering impact across global markets.

Frank’s strategic insight and global perspective will play a pivotal role in supporting ABEC’s continued growth and driving innovation in building performance and energy solutions.
